Despite the growing recognition of the critical role that nutrition, food systems, and food security play in overall health, significant gaps remain in the education and preparedness of healthcare providers, public health professionals, and other stakeholders.

This townhall aims to address gaps by providing education to understand how food and food systems impact health, identify roles of the provider to protect patient health as it related to food and food system-induced stressors, and understand how to act as an agent of change and work with community to address health impacts of food and food systems.
